ICC utilizes the World Wide Web to capture applications and deliver data back
to the customer in forms of inquiries, history, fees, outstanding reports and
copies of any output created on their behalf by the bank.
ICC was developed with the same goal as Cibar’s Windows Customer Connection (WCC)
- Very easy to use for the corporate customer, even if it is only used periodically.
- The corporate customer is responsible for maintaining their own data, including:

Passwords
Standad Phrases
Entitlement
- The bank can control what information is sent
back to the corporate customer, including:
Copies of Letters
Advices
Payment Schedules
History Information
Balances
Information of Fees
- Provides for multiple levels of approval and company segregation.
- Allows the bank to easily provide information to exporters as well as to importers.
ICC provides for the following corporate customer transactions that are transmittable to a host system.
- Letter of Credit Import Entry and Amendment
- Letter of Credit Standby Entry and Amendment
- Direct Collection Entry and Amendment
- Discrepancy responses
- Automatic E-mail notification to approvers
- E-mail to their assigned bank side trade service representative
And the receipt of:
- Letter of Credit event records (e.g., Balance and History Information)
- Output such as Advices, Letters, SWIFT Messages, Telex, etc. / including scanned in images
- Fee information
- Discrepancy notification
- Pre-debit notification
These host related transactions are supported by a number of smaller applications:
- Customer-specific demographic information maintenance
- Customer-specific parameter maintenance
- User entitlement setup
- Set up for Suppliers, advising banks, etc.
- Customer-specific clause maintenance
Repetitive information entered during a transaction for a given supplier, country, etc. can be saved as a template and then pre-loaded during subsequent transactions to reduce the amount of user input required at transaction time.
ICC was designed to work with any back office system as data is exchanged through common interfaces on a scheduled frequency determined by the bank.
Cibar’s Internet Customer Connection can also be customized to:
- Interface with the bank’s main portal page
- Present different colors, graphics, etc. in support of multiple legal entities and in-sourcing arrangements.
ICC supports or has interfaced with the following conventions and/or systems:
- Requires two-factored authentication for access
Company Id/ User Id / Password

HTTP Authentication linked with NT user accounts on the server
Identris and Secure Id external password devices
