Internet Customer Connection Product
ICC utilizes the World Wide Web to capture applications and deliver data back to the customer in forms of inquiries, history, fees, outstanding reports and copies of any output created on their behalf by the bank.
ICC was developed with the same goal as Cibar's Windows Customer Connection (WCC), including:
* Very easy to use for the corporate customer, even if it is only periodically.
* The corporate customer is responsible for maintaining his or her own
data (e.g., suppliers, passwords, standard phrases, etc.)
* The bank can control what information is sent back to the corporate
customer, including copies of letters, advices, payment schedules, history, balance
information, fee information, etc.
* Provides for multiple levels of approval and company segregation. The Web
based; ICC system allows the bank to easily provide information to exporters as well; as to importers.
ICC provides for the following corporate customer transactions that are transmittable to a host system.
* Letter of Credit Import Entry and Amendment
* Letter of Credit Standby Entry and Amendment
* Direct Collection Entry and Amendment
* Discrepancy responses
* Automatic E-mail notification to approvers
* E-mail to their assigned bank side trade service
representative
And the receipt of:
* Letter of Credit event records (e.g., Balance and History Information)
* Output such as Advices, Letters, SWIFT Messages, Telex, etc.
including scanned in images
* Fee information
* Discrepancy notification
* Pre-debit notification
* E-mail
These host related transactions are supported by a number of smaller applications:
* Customer-specific demographic information maintenance
* Customer-specific parameter maintenance
* User entitlement setup
* Suppliers, advising banks, etc. setup
* Customer-specific clause maintenance
Repetitive information entered during a transaction for a given supplier, country, etc. can be saved as a template and then pre-loaded during subsequent transactions to reduce the amount of user input required at transaction time.
ICC was designed to work with any back office system as data is exchanged through common interfaces on a scheduled frequency determined by the bank.
Cibar's Internet Customer Connection can also be customized to:
